First couple days...

After taking a day or so to recover from the huge time change and jet lag we ventured out into the city of Kuala Lumpur. A few different taxi rides took us to local shopping centers to see things from an indoor roller coaster to Malaysian handicrafts.
We braved the streets full of crazy drivers in a recently acquired rental car and made our way to A' Famosa resort and Sunway Lagoon Theme Park.
Our home base is presently a five star hotel called the Traders Hotel. It's very nice, with an excellent view from our window.
Today we drove around with our relocation consultant Robert. We got caught in terrible Ramadan traffic and a near flash flood downpour. We fed some monkeys by the side of the road and had lunch at a really good thai restaurant called The Basil Leaf.

This is awesome - I love the pictures and dialog! I am going to add this to my RSS feed so I'm updated whenever you post something new! I'm also very happy to see that Sandy and Laine are having so much fun! (lots of exclamation points because I am very excited for you)

Great photo's! Lee I wish I new what a RSS feed was so I could do it too! Sandy in the water with the elephants, is not totally unlike her drenched in water, fishing back here in Idaho in Silver Creek. I too am happy for all of them... what an exciting adventure ! I only wish it wasn't half way around the World! Nancy Lane
