Isham, front left was our PETRONAS counterpart and team member for almost 2 years. He has been working in another country and stopped by to see the new GTower office and all of us. It was great to see him. Left to right front row: Jamie Ford, Noorha Wahab, and Isham bin Isnin. Second Row: Jill Engel-Cox, Van, Glen Engel-Cox, Jerad Ford, Ken Bergsman, and Theresa Bergsman.
Sunrise on our morning walk to work. The taxis and buses were all lined up ready for the morning commuters.
During the Chinese New Year there were lion dances everywhere. This one was almost across the street from us at the Chinese Consulate.
Storm coming. View from our apartment windows.
I liked this view of the PETRONAS Twin Towers complete with sign.
The Prime Minister Najib and his wife Rosmah watched the lion dance at the consulate. Here Rosmah shakes hands with the ladies in the crowd.
Nice, mask. You can also see Van's butt in the background. He is trying to get the shot. Ha.
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib shakes hands with those in the crowd. It was amazing to be able to get this close to him.
Nighttime view from our dining room table. It's really fun being on the 32nd floor.
This is the pool in our new apartment. The worse thing is that the sun only shines on the pool a couple hours a day which makes the water (which is unheated) rather refreshing.
Our combination living and dining rooms. We love the windows and the open concept.
The Olson's came over for a turkey dinner and a game of Monopoly. John and Anders are having a great time!
Olivia and Alida Olson. It was girls against the boys and the girls won - of course!
Sunrise from our apartment. The colors were beautiful.
Believe it or not, we normally do not see the moon. It is usually covered by clouds which build all day long and obscure it long before we ever get a chance to see it. This is very rare in KL.
Sunrise over KL.
More sunrise.
I've been trying for a while now to get a photo of lightening. This one is my first. There are many opportunities as the lightening storms are quite something and very frequent.
Storm coming. Check out the cars caught in "the jam." I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to walk home from work and avoid all the traffic. I love it!
